Who I Am and What I Do

Alan L. Edmunds, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Western. He teaches undergraduate courses in educational psychology and special education, Master’s degree courses in giftedness, learning disabilities, special education, and research methods, and a PhD course in cognition and learning.

His current research interests include the study of highly precocious child writers, enhancing inclusive practices within schools, positive classroom learning environments, and cognitive intervention strategies for students with learning disabilities and ADHD.
