Upcoming Events:
Poetry Workshop as Part of the Poetry London Reading
Series:
Prior to each poetry reading, Cornelia Hoogland leads a discussion
of one or two poems by that evening’s featured poets, and
invites participants to read their own poems in a “mutually
supportive” group discussion
atmosphere. One or two participants will open the evening with a short reading
of their own work. People who do not have poems of their own to bring, but
who enjoy discussing poems, or learning more about the art form, are welcome
to attend the workshop. Workshops are held at 6:30 p.m. at the Landon Branch
Library, one hour before the scheduled 7:30 p.m. readings. What to bring: A
copy of a ONE PAGE typed poem that you wish to share in public discussion with
the group. Photocopying will be done on site. See schedule here.

What is your story of hands?
This is a call to travellers, artists, writers, and students.
We want you to share your work that explores who you are and how
you have experienced the work of hands, or the works of the hands
of others.
We will be beginning our second stage of this project in June
2007, and will be looking for poems, photographs, art, and writing
in which the reader experiences the versatility and meaningfulness
of hands by seeing hands at work. Please visit the submissions
page for guidelines and contact information June 2007.
